Believe Yoga at School
'Believe Yoga at School' aims to boost student's self esteem and confidence. Yoga teaches them to persevere, be patient and work towards their goals. Yoga also provides tools for practicing compassion, mindfulness so they can divert any anxious thoughts and encourages generosity, focus, strength and flexibility.
'Believe Yoga at School' classes give students of every size, shape and physical ability a supportive, non-competitive form of physical exercise that is fun and empowering.
We believe yoga helps students improve their health and concentration, find alternatives to conflict and develop a lifelong interest in wellness.
'Believe Yoga at School' classes are typically 1 hour long and include yoga poses, breathing practices, games and relaxation techniques. For younger children in Early Learning Centre's we have found 2 x 30 minute classes works best for this age group and also allows the yoga instructor to spend more quality time within a smaller group of children. While a school teacher is present, the yoga instructor provides group and individual attention. We also offer classes for teachers, staff and parents.
